Peanut Cast Bring your favorite content to the big screen

Privacy

This notice explains how Peanut Cast handles data on your device.

Local media

Videos opened through the system file picker are read by this device and are not uploaded to our servers. When you choose AirPlay, the system sends playback to the receiver you selected.

Network media

When you open an HTTPS media address, your device connects directly to its server. That server may receive your IP address, request time, and network information needed for playback.

AirPlay

Device discovery, connection, and casting are handled by AirPlay. Peanut Cast does not scan or save a list of devices on your local network.

Settings and feedback

The app stores your preferences and a randomly generated anonymous installation identifier on this device. Only after you submit feedback are its contents, optional contact details, app version, OS version, and device type sent over an encrypted connection for troubleshooting, product improvement, and necessary follow-up.

Your controls

Uninstalling the app deletes the settings and anonymous installation identifier stored on this device. Submitted feedback is retained as needed for support and security.
