When you open an HTTPS media address, your device connects directly to its server. That server may receive your IP address, request time, and network information needed for playback.
Device discovery, connection, and casting are handled by AirPlay. Peanut Cast does not scan or save a list of devices on your local network.

Only after you submit feedback are its contents, optional contact details, app version, OS version, and device type sent over an encrypted connection for troubleshooting, product improvement, and necessary follow-up.
Uninstalling the app deletes the settings and anonymous installation identifier stored on this device. Submitted feedback is retained as needed for support and security.
